When I was around 9 years old my uncle taught me how to draw a horse. My aunt and uncle were both painters and were teaching my cousin, Fer, how to draw. I was sleeping over at their house in the city; so they invited me to the drawing lesson. When I picked up the pencil with which I drew my first horse, my life was forever changed. That was the day I fell in love with art.
I don't know if anyone can relate, but sometimes I wonder why I do the things I do. Why I post thoughts on a blog, or why I like fashion, when some people just don't get it. - - - - - And then it clicks. All those things make me smile.
Regardless of all the weird looks I get, art makes me smile. I think of the day that I fell in love, and I realize what drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, theatre and fashion mean to me today.
<< Art shaped me. So I shall continue to do what I love & continue to smile.
